The Li-ion battery in the floor in front of the rear axle allows for an electric range of up to 60 km in the WLTP cycle. That’s more than enough for all your daily trips in the city centre. To activate purely electric drive, simply select the E-mode.

Simply set the required charge level and the battery recharges on the way, thanks to the internal combustion engine and regenerative braking.

The term “plug-in hybrid” tells us that the Octavia RS iV’s battery can be recharged after connecting a charging cable. The battery can be recharged at home, typically overnight, either from a regular outlet or via a powerful wallbox for faster charging – a flat battery can be recharged completely from an ordinary outlet in 5 hours, and in 3 hours 30 minutes with a 3.6 kW wallbox. Recharging the battery on the go is easy – at work, in a car park or at a shopping centre.
